Microsoft Edge started crashing for users who had Google as default search engine

Microsoft Edge program began crashing for clients who had chosen Google as their default web search engine. The accidents continued for around four hours before Microsoft fixed it. This issue just influenced clients who had Google chosen as their default engine. The issue was influencing clients on both macOS and Windows, as indicated by reports. Microsoft recognized the issue and proposed a workaround of killing pursuit proposals while it chipped away at a fix.

According to a report by The Verge, the program began smashing when clients composed into the location bar. This appeared to just influence clients who had chosen Google as their default web crawler, and not others. On the off chance that Edge clients changed the default program to Bing, Microsoft’s own web crawler, the accidents didn’t happen, as indicated by the report.

In a tweet a couple of hours after the fact, Microsoft declared that it had settled the issue. Saying thanks to clients for their understanding, it said that clients could move back to their unique program settings on Edge, and to connect with Microsoft if any accidents were all the while occurring.

Before Microsoft has settled the issue and clients were griping about the accidents, Microsoft had offered its clients a transitory arrangement by means of a tweet.
