Ken Shamrock
On October 4, 1992, Ken Shamrock began his mixed martial arts career with the Japanese pro wrestling organization Fujiwara Gumi. In 1993, Shamrock was a part of UFC 1: The Beginning, the first event hosted by Dana White’s company at which eight fighters fought in a one-night tournament. A submission to defeat the opposition in the first round qualified him for the semi-finals, where he lost. WWE, then-WWF, made the MMA fighter’s debut in 1997 during a Monday Night Raw episode. The fighter was nicknamed “The World’s Most Dangerous Man.”. Shamrock won the Intercontinental title, world tag-team championship, and 1998 King of the Ring tournament during his time with the WWE.
Bobby Lashley
Following a successful run in the WWE, Bobby Lashley turned to MMA after becoming a talented amateur wrestler. It was during an episode of SmackDown that he defeated Simon Dean in mid-2005 that he made his WWE debut. Three years after joining the WWE, Lashley parted ways with the company, and in 2008 he turned to MMA. In his MMA career, he won 15 matches and lost only two. Currently, Lashley is the United States champion and is signed to the WWE.

Shayna Baszler fought under a variety of promotions before becoming a WWE women’s tag-team champion. In 2006, Baszler began competing in Maximum Fighting Championship promotions under the nickname “The Queen of Spades.”. In August 2013, Baszler debuted in the UFC against Colleen Schneider. She was selected as a fighter in The Ultimate Fighter: Team Rousey vs. Team Tate. Baszler fought Amanda Nunes on March 21, 2015 at UFC Fight Night 62, where she lost. WWE debuted Baszler during the Mae Young Classic tournament on July 13, 2017.

When she was a teenager, Rousey competed in Olympic judo and in November 2012, she became the first female fighter to join the UFC.
