What features to expect from Google chrome 89 update as it is being rolled out
Google has put out a new edition of its internet browser—Google Chrome—a beta channel that exposes some of the key features that the search engine would be carrying out for Chrome’s next major update, according to the Android Police study.
The first feature, called Privacy Sandbox, which Google says is an “a secure environment for personalisation that also protects user privacy.” The study claims that users will be able to find it in Settings > Privacy and Security > Privacy Sandbox.
Next, the Chrome 89 edition is said to come with improvements to the Explore Feed on the New Tab Side, but more in interface features. As per the article, Google is expected to replace the cards in which the objects are displayed as dividers. The font is now said to be larger, and the definition on the card has also been deleted.
Another feature that is reported to be included in the upcoming edition of Chrome 89 is called the site details popup. As per the article, this function allows users to see complete address, page security detail, and a list of permissions given when pressing the ‘I’ or locking icon in the address bar.
Finally, the article argues that Google is still focusing on getting Web Sharing to the desktop. This feature allows web apps to send and retrieve data from Android’s native sharing menu.
