[Update] Alleged Moto G85 Spotted On TENAA And India’s BIS Certification Websites; Key Details Revealed
Update on 18th June 2024 at 9:16 PM IST: Motorola has confirmed that the Moto G85 will come to China as Motorola S50 Neo on June 25th along with the Moto Razr 50 Series.
The smartphone brand Motorola is rumored to be working on the Moto G85 smartphone. Last month the device was listed on European Retailer’s Website while the renders of the device were also leaked online. Also a few days back we spotted an alleged Moto G85 smartphone on FCC, Hi-res Audio, and IMEI databases hinting at its imminent launch.
The Hi-Res Audio certification revealed that the smartphone arrived with model numbers XT2427-1, XT2427-2, XT2427-3, and XT2427-4. The Tech Outlook has today spotted model number XT2427-4 on the TENAA certification website.
The above database reveals that the smartphone will feature a 6.6-inch OLED display that offers 1080×2400 screen resolution. It will be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz and will be backed by a 4850mAh battery. It will pack up a 50MP main camera with an 8MP secondary camera on the rear side and a 32MP selfie camera. The database reveals that the device will arrive with RAM options- 8GB/12GB/16GB/18GB and storage options- 128GB/256GB/512GB/1TB. It will weigh 171g and measures 161.9x73x7.5mm.
The device is revealed to arrive with a gravity sensor, distance sensor, light sensor, under-screen fingerprint recognition, and face recognition. It is also revealed to support GSM/WCDMA/LTE FDD/ TD LTE/ NSA/ NR/SA network connectivity. It will arrive with a built-in Antenna and dual SIM support.
The alleged Moto G85 5G smartphone is also confirmed to arrive in India as we spotted model number XT2427-3 on India’s BIS certification website.
