Possible Motorola Edge 60 Series Smartphone Receives FCC and BIS Certifications: Few Key Specs Revealed
We have been coming across multiple updates concerning Motorola’s next Edge 60 series smartphones and reports have already spoken about four of the upcoming devices (Edge 60, Edge 60 Pro, Edge 60 Fusion, Edge 60 Ultra). Now, a possible Edge 60 series device has made it to the FCC certification platform, and via the certification listings, a few of its key specs have been revealed. Possible Motorola Edge 60 Series Smartphone – FCC and BIS Certifications
This Motorola smartphone which carries the model number of ‘XT2507-1’ has been certified by the FCC authority of the United States, and it has received the certification with the FCC ID of ‘IHDT56AU3’. To note, the certification database has categorized the device as a ‘Mobile Cellular Phone’ and from what it seems, this could be a possible Motorola Edge 60 series smartphone model.
About its revealed specs, this device would be supporting 2G/3G/4G/5G network, WiFi 6 (with triple band support), Bluetooth (with BR/EDR/LE), and NFC connectivity. It is also suggested to come with the Android 15 operating system out of the box (hardware version – DVT2; software version – V2VV35.35).
Furthermore, the listing points to its battery (model number: RE60), charging adapters (model numbers: MC-901, MC-902, MC-903, MC-905, MC-906, MC-907, MC-909), and USB cables (model numbers: SC18D71644, SC18E08104, SC18D86731, SC18E08103) too. As per UL Solutions database, Motorola is revealed to pack a 5820 mAh battery (likely rated value) within the device, and its charging adapters reveal that it could support up to 90W wired fast charging.
On the BIS certification database, the device bears the model number of ‘XT2507-2’, and it received the grant or inclusion onto the database as of on the 18th of March 2025. Also, just like the FCC certification confirms its launch in the US market, the smartphone’s launch in India has been confirmed via its BIS listing.
