The smartphone brand OnePlus has recently confirmed that its flagship OnePlus 13 smartphone will be launching soon in the Indian market, though the launch date has not been announced but reports suggest that the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R will be making their debut globally in January 2025.
Alongside the upcoming OnePlus 13 series, the brand is expected to unveil its latest smartwatch as well- the OnePlus Watch 3. Back in June, a OnePlus smartwatch with model number OPWWE234 was spotted on BIS and TUV certification websites. The websites did not reveal the moniker but it was said to be OnePlus Watch 3. Now in a recent discovery @91mobiles has spotted a OnePlus watch with model number OPWWE251 on the FCC database and this mysterious watch is assumed to be the OnePlus Watch 3.
The FCC database reveals that the upcoming smartwatch will measure 46.6mm*47.6mm*11.75mm. It is revealed to be backed by a 631 mAh rated battery and a 648 mAh typical battery. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, NSS, NFC, and 2.4 GHz/5 GHz WiFi. Since the watch is marked under production unit, the watch is believed to launch soon.
As per rumors, the upcoming smartwatch by OnePlus may be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear W5 SoC. A OnePlus watch with model number OPWW234 was spotted on TENAA certification also and it was said that this may be the Chinese variant of the OnePlus Watch 3 as the same model number was also spotted on 3C and CMIIT database. We may see the launch of the OnePlus Watch 3 along with the OnePlus 13 series. However, the confusion regarding the model number may be resolved in the coming days.
