Alleged Samsung Galaxy A83 Spotted On India’s BIS Certification Website with model number “SM-A832B”
Samsung is set to unveil its latest Galaxy F55 5G smartphone in the Indian market on May 27, 2024. In addition to this upcoming device, the South Korean tech giant appears to be working on another Galaxy device for the Indian region.
A new smartphone has been spotted on the BIS certification website with the model number SM-A832B. The listing confirms the launch of this device in India, though the database does not reveal its moniker.
Based on Samsung’s naming trends for its smartphones, the upcoming device with the model number SM-A832B could be the Samsung Galaxy A83. The BIS listing does not reveal any specifications, but more details about this smartphone are expected to emerge soon.
In 2021, a Samsung device with the model number SM-A826s was spotted on the Google Play Console database. It was assumed to be the Galaxy A82(Global), but Samsung later introduced it as the Galaxy Quantum 2 in South Korea. Following the Quantum 2, Samsung released the Galaxy Quantum 3 and Quantum 4 in South Korea, which were rebranded versions of the Galaxy M53 and Galaxy A54, respectively.
The Samsung Galaxy A80 was launched in 2019, and the Quantum 2 arrived in 2021. Now, after several years, we will likely see its successor, possibly called the Samsung Galaxy A83.
