In August, it was said that Apple Air Tag 2 could go into mass production in Q4 of this year but as of now there was no update on the same. Recently a Bloomberg report revealed that this accessory has now progressed in manufacturing tests while the company is getting ready to bring it to the market.
The report reveals that this upcoming version will look similar to Apple AirTag but there will be few upgrades compared to its predecessor. Apple AirTag 2 is said to offer better range and bolster the onboard wireless chip. It is said to arrive with improved privacy as earlier Apple AirTag was reported to be used for stalking purposes by removing its speaker but it is said that in Apple AirTag 2 it will be more difficult for someone to remove the speaker. Reportedly this accessory is said to be released in mid-2025.
Other than Apple AirTag 2, the report also suggests that Apple may revisit the idea of making an Apple-branded TV set. This Apple TV is much anticipated and highly demanded by the consumers but there was no information revealed whether the company is planning to do so.
