Now, a tipster on the Weibo platform, has revealed more key specs of this smartphone, as well as other details concerning it, further suggesting that it may soon be having its launch unlike what another update revealed recently.

As per a recent update, it was pointed out that Apple is developing its next generation SE model based on the iOS 18.3 operating system, and that it won’t be released this month but only by April 2025 if everything turns out right. However, unlike this, the tipster Digital Chat Station has a different story to give, and just like what was being said, the release of this device can be expected soon. While he hasn’t tipped a launch date or a launch time frame, he notes that he has touched the real machine materials. Speaking more, the tipster has also further shared that the appearance is fine and does not have anything wrong in it.
Coming to the tipped specs, he mentions that the device features a 6.06″ FHD+ 60Hz LTPS OLED notch display, along with a metal right-angle middle frame. The brand’s A18 processor is suggested to be used in the device, and it is said to offer a single rear camera and Face ID protection. A waterproof body is also among the tipped specs, and the iPhone 14 similarity has been reiterated. Moreover, he adds that the device is positioned as the cheapest iPhone from Apple.
Looking at past updates, what has been shared above aligns with the previously shared details. Other expected specs or features are 48MP main camera and Apple Intelligence support. Also, the 4th generation SE model will possibly ditch the home button. In terms of design, while it could show similarities with the iPhone 14 model, the size is believed to be similar to the iPhone 16 smartphone. 6GB/8GB LPDDR5 RAM, Black & White color choices, and a price tag in between USD 499 and USD 549 are also more details of the upcoming device as per reports.
