CMF Phone 2 Concept Design and Possible Specs Shared Online: Features Interchangeable Panels and Added Accessories

The UK-based smartphone maker – Nothing has already unveiled its Phone (3a) series consisting of the Nothing Phone (3a) and Nothing Phone (3a) Pro devices and now, the tech world is expecting to see the debut of the CMF Phone 2 smartphone soon. Its concept design and possible specifications have been shared online and notably, the concept design retains the interchangeable panels and added accessories for the CMF Phone 2, just like its predecessor.

CMF Phone 2 – Shared Concept Design and Possible Specs

As per these concept design images, instead of a single interchangeable rear panel, there seems to be two interchangeable rear panels (attached to another middle piece), along with the round removable screw at the lower right portion. The first interchangeable rear panel also equips a circular interchangeable unit too, which will stay over three individual circular units that houses two camera sensors and the LED flashlight as can be seen below. Also to add, apart from the round removable screw, seven normal screws ensure that the interchangeable rear panels remain in place.

Speaking more, the concept design images also portray the device in multiple colors, and the overall design has the device feature a flat rear and flat side panels (with rounded corners). The right side panel is also suggested to have the power button. while the volume rockers are on the left side panel. The speaker holes, USB type-C charging port, microphone hole, and card tray are placed at the bottom. Accessories like the stand and lanyard are also added design specs.

Coming to the possible key specs, MediaTek’s Dimensity 7350 5G chip (not Snapdragon 7s Gen 3), 20GB RAM (12GB inbuilt + 8GB virtual), 256GB storage (2TB expandable storage support), Android 15 based Nothing OS 3.5, 6.7″ Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 2000 nits peak brightness, 50MP + 50MP dual camera unit (primary + ultra-wide), 32MP selfie camera, 5000 mAh battery backup (up to 30 hours video playback), and 45W wired + 5W reverse wired charging features are being expected.

As per its GSMA IMEI listing, the CMF Phone 2 is pointed out to carry the model number – ‘A0001’ and codename – ‘galaga’. Probably in the coming days, we may get to hear more about this upcoming device. Stay tuned.
