OPPO Find X8 Series – Tipped Indian Storage Variants and Launch Time Frame

So as per what our inside source has tipped, two storage variants of the vanilla Find X8 smartphone and a single storage variant for Find X8 Pro model should be made available to Indian customers. The Find X8 is said to have 12GB/256GB and 16GB/512GB variants, while the Find X8 Pro may only be coming in the 16GB/512GB option in India.

Coming to the launch time frame, Indian customers won’t have to wait a lot longer after the Chinese launch that is scheduled for the 24th of October 2024, this month. Yes, you heard it right! Our inside source suggests that the Indian launch will take place near Diwali, and do remember that this year’s Diwali is on the 31st of October 2024.

Now speaking of some previous updates, both the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro models have been spotted on the BIS certification platform and a report also claimed that the Find X8 Pro can be manufactured in India rather than being imported from China. Thus this also points that the price of the pro model could be a little less in India.

Regarding the expected/revealed specifications of the smartphones, OPPO recently confirmed that its Find X8 series smartphones will have the latest ColorOS 15 custom skin based on the Android 15 operating system out of the box. The MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset has also been confirmed for the smartphones. In terms of charging, reports have revealed 80W wired charging and 50W magnetic wireless charging features. An alert slider, a customizable pressure-sensitive button, micro-quad-curved display, circular camera module, single periscope lens triple camera unit for Find X8, and dual periscope lens quad camera unit for the Find X8 Pro, are the other expected specs.
