Foldable Face-Off: Honor Teases Magic Series As Vivo Unfolds Its Slimmest, Lightest X Fold 3 Pro

Vivo has officially confirmed the launch of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro smartphone in India through its official X account before this announcement, we have watched it on certification websites like  BIS, TKDN, SDPPI, and Bluetooth SIG, and when it was launched in China. Ahead of its launch company has made some claims on its microsite dedicated to the smartphone saying that this foldable is India’s slimmest, lightest, biggest display, and brightest display fold.

While the market was buzzing with these claims Joint Managing Director of HTech Madhav Sheth wrote on X that the “Honor Magic series will exceed Indian consumers’ expectations in reality”. He also shared the promotional image of Vivo X Fold 3 Pro along with the claims that the company has made.

Here it becomes important to understand that Madhav Sheth has brought the Honor Magic series topic at a time when people are actually expecting a foldable to come from the company. And this is because he in an interview given to Financial Express said that the company is expecting to launch a foldable in India by the first half of 2024.

If that comes out to be true this is the perfect time for the company can begin teasing its new foldable in India. This foldable can be an Honor Magic V2 smartphone that he mentioned at the time of the interview.

This smartphone would be an appropriate candidate to fight with the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro smartphone as Magic V2 has 9.9mm thickness when folded whereas Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is 11.2mm thick when folded. The Magic V2 weighs only 231g whereas the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro weighs 236 grams. These are mere speculations though we expect things about the upcoming foldable will be unfolded in the upcoming days.
