Galaxy A56 5G spotted on FCC database; Certification document screenshot reveals the device will come with One UI 7

The rumor mill has been buzzing lately with Galaxy A56 5G updates and the device is expected to make its debut in the mid-half of March 2025. Till now the device has made its appearance on various certification websites SIRIM, TUV Rheinland, MIIT, TENAA, 3C, EMVCo, BIS, and Geekbench while the support page for this smartphone is currently live in France.

Galaxy A56 5G has now been spotted on the FCC certification website (via SamMobile) with model number SM-A566E/DS. This variant is expected to be sold mainly in Asian and Middle Eastern countries.

FCC database has revealed few details about this upcoming smartphone but what caught the attention is one of the certification documents that contains a screenshot from the phone status information screen.

If you take a glance at the battery icon in the top right corner, this is similar to the one seen in the previously launched Galaxy S25 series that comes with One UI 7. This suggests that Galaxy A56 will come with One UI 7 based on Android 15.

Other than this the FCC database reveals that the device will support 5G, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, and 45W charging.

Regarding its expected/revealed key specs, based on reports, Samsung’s Galaxy A56 5G is believed to arrive equipped with the brand’s own Exynos 1580 chip with a primary clock speed of 2.91 GHz. It is also likely going to be integrated with the Xclipse 540 GPU, is probably going to run on Android 15 based One UI 7, and may come with an 8GB RAM option. A triple rear camera system is suggested to be featured via the render images shared, and it is said to sport a 12MP front-facing camera. A 4905 mAh rated battery could be equipped.
