Google Pixel 9a Smartphone Leaked Renders Shows Changed Camera Module Design

Google just recently launched the Google Pixel 9 series smartphones. It came with the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold smartphones. There is still a smartphone left to be launched from the series and that is Google Pixel 9a. Google can launch this smartphone around Google I/O though nothing for sure can be said for now. Ahead of its launch, the smartphone’s renders have come out.

These renders of the Google Pixel 9a smartphone have been leaked in an exclusive report by Android Headlines and are sourced from OnLeaks. Let’s get to know about it in detail.

Leaked renders of the Google Pixel 9a

As per the leaked renders of the Google Pixel 9a smartphone, the camera module design has been changed. This neither resembles the Google Pixel 8a smartphone nor the Google Pixel 9 series phones. It has a small flat ring on the rear side that is shown to house a dual camera setup. It is confined to the top left side of the handset. And just besides there is a flash. The front side of the smartphone shows pretty large bezels around a flat display with a centrally positioned punch-hole cutout. Volume and power rockers are positioned on the right side of the smartphone. The SIM section, type C port, and speaker can be seen in the bottom section of the flat frame.

This is not the first time its design has been leaked. A while ago the smartphone’s alleged images were leaked online that showed a similar design. As far as specs are concerned, it’s still under the wrap. It’s important to mention here that the Google Pixel 9a should be the first smartphone from the company to come with the Android 15 and the last to be powered by the Samsung-designed Tensor chip. We may see some similar specs as its predecessor Google Pixel 8a smartphone, so let’s learn about it in detail.

Google Pixel 8a Smartphone Specifications

The Google Pixel 8a smartphone features a 6.1-inch wide Actua display with an OLED panel and 120Hz refresh rate, 1080 x 2400p resolution, and 2,000 nits of peak brightness. The display stays protected by the Corning Gorilla 3 cover glass. It is powered by a Google Tensor G3 processor paired with 8 GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

It runs Android 14 and is promised to receive seven years of OS, security, and feature drop updates. In the camera department, the smartphone gets a 64 MP Quad PD wide camera with a 13MP ultrawide camera on the rear and a 13MP selfie camera. It is backed by a 4,492mAh battery that can work for up to 72 hours with extreme battery saver mode
