Google Pixel 9a Smartphone Prototype Revealed Online: Aligns with Previous Design Images
Following the four Pixel 9 series devices that were unveiled this year, Google is in the preparations to unveil its next and last Pixel 9 series device and it is expected to launch next year in Spring 2025 around Google I/O conference. In the past, we had come across the live and render images of the upcoming device and now, the prototype of the device has been revealed (via OnLeaks).

Google Pixel 9a – Revealed Prototype
The Google Pixel 9a prototype as mentioned aligns with the previously shared design images and we are able to spot the flat display with thick bezels, centrally-aligned punch-hole selfie camera, flat rear panel, pill-shaped camera module with slightly projected outer ring, dual rear camera unit (wide + ultrawide camera sensors), and an LED flashlight at the right of the camera module.
As per reports, Google’s Pixel 9a will be the only Pixel 9 series device that will have the Android 15 operating system out of the box and is said to be the last to be powered by Samsung-made Tensor chip (next Tensor G5 chip reported to be manufactured by TSMC). Moreover, the upcoming Google Pixel 9a may show some similarities with the previous Pixel 8a device as well in terms of key specs.
