HMD Barbie Flip Phone Found Listed On China’s MIIT Certification Revealing Design
HMD just recently dropped a teaser of its upcoming flip phone with Barbie branding. It also confirmed that the phone will be launched on 28th August. Though the company did not reveal anything about this phone, we brought to you the charging specs of this phone through its listing on Elements Certification. We saw that the phone has appeared with the model number TA-1681 and confirmed that the phone will support 5W charging.
As of now only a hint of the design has been given by the company but what if you get the whole look of it? Here we got it for you, from its listing on China’s MIIT certification website.
Here you get the whole look.
The phone seems to have a plastic frame and body with pink’s dark and light shade. It shows the Barbie written on the back of the phone with “HMD” branding. On the front when it’s closed it shows a single camera with LED flash. Unlike the Nokia 2660 Flip whose HMD Barbie is expected to be the slightly better version, it shows a grey front with a blurred square area though we might get to see the black front of the flip with the cover screen.
It also shows the Type C port, and a 3.5mm jack for headphones while on the other side, it shows the power button and SIM tray space. Inner side you get to see the screen on the upper side of the body and keys on the lower body as we get to see in flip phones. It has got a small rectangular display. The keys are as usual as we used to see in a flip phone with number and letter-integrated keys. As said by the tipsters earlier the HMD Barbie can come with a 2.8-inch wide main display and a 1.77-inch cover display. It can be backed by a 1,450mAh battery and packs 48MB RAM with 128MB flash memory.
