If you recall, Honor launched the Honor Pad X8 in 2022 and the X8 Pro in its home country, China, last year. However, the global market only received the Honor Pad X8, with the Pro variant being dropped.
And now it seems like the global market will soon have a new member of Honor Pad X8 called the Honor Pad X8a. This is evident as it has been spotted on the UAE’s TDRA certification, along with the EEC certification, which I will discuss further in this article.
Honor Pad X8a TDRA and EEC
The TDRA certification does reveal some insights about this upcoming tablet for the global market. Firstly, the model number it is listed with is “NDL-W09” and the moniker revealed is Honor Pad X8a. The next thing the certification tells us is that it will come as a Wifi Only variant.
Also, just to add, this will be the first X series tablet to have an alphabet at the end of its moniker.
Further details cannot be retrieved from this certification, and the EEC certification also lists the same model number “NDL-W09.” Though the moniker isn’t present on the certification, the TDRA has revealed it. Additionally, the sighting on the EEC certification confirms that it will also be coming to the EU region.
At this point, this is all the information available about the upcoming tablet. However, I am confident that it will soon appear in several other certifications.
