Honor X60 series to feature quad-curved display, super drop resistance, massive battery
Honor will announce the Honor 200 and 200 Pro on May 27. A new leak revealed almost everything about the 200 series. Now, tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed that the brand is also working on the Honor X60 series for the Chinese market. To recall, the Honor X50 series included multiple models, such as the Honor X50, X50i, X50i+, X50 Pro, and X50 GT. It is likely that the X60 lineup will also have multiple models. According to the leaker, the new models will feature a popular high-end design, including an equal-depth, four-curved screen, positioning them as affordable devices challenging flagship standards. Additionally, X60 models are expected to pack extra-large batteries and super drop resistance.
For context, the Honor X50 was launched in July last year. The device came equipped with key features, such as a 6.78-inch curved-edge OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, and a starting price of 1,399 CNY (~$193).
The Honor X50 also packed a 5800mAh battery with 35W charging support, an 8-megapixel front camera, and a dual rear camera setup comprising a 108-megapixel main sensor (Samsung S5KHM6) and a 2-megapixel lens, supporting 3x lossless zoom, millisecond-level capture, and high dynamic range.
