Huawei, the Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer, caught the attention of the tech industry and foldable market as such with the world’s very first triple foldable smartphone – Mate XT Ultimate and now, the brand is preparing for the launch of its next foldable device – Mate X6. As its expected launch time frame nears, the peripheral materials of the upcoming device has been shared via the Weibo platform of China.

Here’s more about it.

Huawei Mate X6 – Peripheral Materials Ready

Huawei’s Mate X6, which was initially believed to be the triple-foldable device that the company was making, will be a dual book-like foldable smartphone and is revealed to feature a very flat display screen for better viewing. Using this super flat display, reflections can be reduced, and with the light weight material (UTG – Ultra Thin Glass solution), the users will be getting a better in-hand feel. The same circular rear camera layout, but probably with a different lens arrangement, HarmonyOS Next out of the box, better image and AI capabilities, and new Kirin 5G chipset are other expected specs.

Other recent updates also point out that the smartphone brand has increased the production orders of its Mate X6 smartphone, following which, the peripheral materials for the device has been spotted and are ready.
