Huawei ‘s Kirin 9100 Chip Price Range Tipped Online: Said To Match Or Outperform Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC

The smartphone brand Huawei is rumored to soon launch the Huawei Mate 70 series in China. This series is rumored to be powered by Kirin 9100 SoC. As per reports, this latest chipset could match or outperform the performance or efficiency of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Today a user on the Weibo platform has tipped the price range of Kirin 9100 chipset.

According to the tipster, Kirin 9100 could cost manufacturers around 1100 Yuan to 1300 Yuan (roughly $157 to $186).  This suggests that this upcoming chipset will fall within the same price range as the upcoming Qualcomm and MediaTek processors. As Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 is said to be priced at $190 while Dimensity 9400 SoC is said to be priced at $155.

Kirin 9100 SoC is expected to be manufactured based on either 5nm process using Deep Ultraviolet lithography or a 7nm process.

The tipster has also revealed that the Huawei Mate 70 series is expected to include Huawei Mate 70, Huawei Mate 70 Pro, Huawei Mate 70 Pro+, and Huawei Mate 70 Extraordinary Master smartphones. It also tipped that this upcoming smartphone series will be made available around the middle of next month. More updates regarding this series are expected to kick in the coming few weeks.
