Huawei Watch 5 Series Launch Time Frame and Key Features Revealed by Chinese Tipster

Very recently, we saw Huawei’s latest Watch Ultimate Gold Edition launching in the Chinese market along with the Mate 70 series flagships and following which, a tipster on the Weibo platform has pointed out the upcoming Watch 5 series launch. The launch time frame has been tipped, as well as a few of its key features.

Huawei Watch 5 Series – Tipped to Launch in Q2 2025

This update comes from the tipster – Smart Pikachu, who has via a Weibo post revealed that in the second quarter of next year (in Q2 2025), Huawei might be unveiling its most beautiful and in-house developed Watch 5 series devices. The brand has already unveiled its Watch GT 5 series globally in September 2024, while the Watch GT 5 model was silently unveiled in India two months back. The upcoming Watch 5 series models will be the successors to the May 2023-released Watch 4 series which consisted of the Watch 4 and Watch 4 Pro models.

Speaking more, the tipster notes that large and small dial models will be present in the series, which could be for the pro and vanilla models respectively, and they are said to be lighter and thinner in terms of design. Also to add, an upgraded sensor array has also been tipped, suggesting that better health/sports tracking capabilities will be offered to users.

Speaking about past updates, initially it was believed that the Watch 5 series could be debuted with the Mate 70 series (which did not happen), and are likely to carry the same or similar pricing details when compared to the Watch 4 series models. Moreover, the HarmonyOS Next may also be offered out of the box, and the upcoming models are expected to bring a new and distinct design.
