We brought to you an update that Huawei is busy receiving certification from various bodies for its upcoming smartwatches. The smartwatches are the Huawei Watch GT5 and Watch GT 5 Pro. Earlier we brought to you that the Huawei Watch GT 5 smartwatch has appeared on China’s 3C certification, Indonesia’s SDPPI, and TUV certifications. It appeared with the model number “VLI-B19”. We also spotted another model number associated device on 3C that at first glance appeared to be the another size variant of the Huawei Watch GT 5 smartwatch though later came out to be the Watch GT 5 Pro. This happened when the “VLI-B29” model number appeared on SDPPI with the moniker Huawei Watch GT 5 Pro.
Now both of the smartwatches have appeared on Singapore’s IMDA certification body with the model numbers “VLI-B19” and “VLI-B29”. The listing confirms that the smartwatches will come with the Sports Activity Tracker, Bluetooth support, and Notification display. Apart from this, the listing also confirms that the smartwatches will be launched in Singapore.
As far as other specs are concerned both of the variants will come in IP68 rated body and can support 18W charging. The rest of the information about Huawei Watch GT 5 series smartwatches remains under wrap.
