Infinix Hot 50 5G clears multiple certifications, battery specs and processor details revealed

Infinix’s next Hot series is coming in hot, I would say. Recently, we discovered the Hot 50 4G on the Google Play Console, revealing it may come with a Helio G99 or G99 Ultimate processor. However, a tipster later revealed through Android Dump data that it will come with a Helio G100 SoC. Now we have spotted the 5G variant on several certifications, which reveals that yet another Dimensity 6300 SoC is coming in.

According to a report by Gizmochina, there will be at least five devices in the Hot 50 Series:

  • Infinix Hot 50: X6882
  • Infinix Hot 50 Pro: X6881
  • Infinix Hot 50 Pro+: X6880
  • Infinix Hot 50 5G: X6720
  • Infinix Hot 50i: X6531

Now that we have all the details, let’s move on to the 5G variant of the Hot 50, which we have discovered on several certifications.

Infinix Hot 50 5G Specs revealed

According to the Google Play Console, there will be two model numbers: “X6720” and “X6720B”. Both are associated with the Hot 50 5G, but with a slight variation in memory, likely for different markets. The Google Play Console reveals that the chipset for both smartphones will be the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ (MT6835V/ZA), paired with a Mali G57 (962 MHz) GPU. However, the “X6720” is listed with 4GB RAM, while the “X6720B” is listed with 8GB RAM. Both will boot Android 14 out of the box. The CPU cores have also been revealed, with two cores running at 2.2GHz and six cores running at 2.0GHz.

It is also revealed that the device will come with a screen resolution of 720×1600 and a pixel density of 320 DPI. However, the model number “X6720” appeared on the Geekbench database, telling a different story. According to the Geekbench database, the single-core test managed to score 684, while the multi-core test scored 1828. This is important, as the prototype which ran on the Geekbench database shows a different core architecture. It indicates that six cores are running at 2 GHz, while two are running at 2.4 GHz, with a Mali G57 MC2 GPU. All of this corresponds to the Dimensity 6300 SoC. A similar situation occurred in the past with the Oppo A3x 5G (Indian Variant), which showed the Dimensity 6100+ when it appeared on the Google Play Console but was ultimately launched with the Dimensity 6300 SoC.

So, it is likely that the device will come with the Dimensity 6300 SoC. Further inspection of the TÜV certification reveals that both model numbers show a battery capacity of 4,900 mAh. Regarding its launch timeline, as the device has appeared on several certifications, we may hear a launch announcement at any time.
