iPhone 17 Air case leaked online; reveals new speaker grille design

The iPhone 16 series has already made its debut in the industry and now the rumor mill has started buzzing with the successor of this series- the iPhone 17 series. The series is said to make its debut in September or October 2025. Reports suggest that the series will include iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max while the Plus model is said to be replaced by iPhone 17 Air.

Various details about the iPhone 17 Air have surfaced till now while recently the possible rear panel design of the device also surfaced online. Tipster @MajinBuOfficial has recently shared the image of the iPhone 17 Air case on the X platform.

There is a pill-shaped camera module as revealed earlier as well. The camera module is very similar to the Pixel 9 series camera module. While at the bottom there is a USB Type-C port and two speaker grilles with a new design. The right side is revealed to feature three buttons.

Based on the possible rear panel design image, it is suggested to feature an integrated middle frame, which could be a metal body (or not). iPhone 17 Air may not support wireless charging just like the other models in the series. The pill-shaped camera module is revealed to feature a single rear camera on the left side.

Other expected specs of the iPhone 17 Air include the A19 processor, 6.6″ display screen with the Dynamic Island, 8GB RAM, single speaker unit, 3K+ mAh battery, and likely no physical SIM card slot. Furthermore, the thickness at its thinnest point is reportedly 5.5 mm.
