iQOO Neo 10 and Neo 10 Pro Smartphones Appeared on the 3C Database of China: Charging Spec Revealed
The Vivo subsidiary, iQOO, is currently all set to unveil its flagship iQOO 13 device in the Chinese market this month, however, from what it seems, the brand will be bringing out two of its latest sub-flagship devices too soon. Yes, the next iQOO Neo 10 series smartphones have now received China’s 3C certification and are said to have their launch before the end of this year.
Here’s more about it.
iQOO Neo 10 Series – 3C Certification
The iQOO Neo 10 series smartphones bearing model numbers – ‘V2425A’ and ‘V2426A’ have been certified by the 3C authority, and the two are listed along with their respective charging adapters. Based on this, the iQOO Neo 10 series devices would probably be supporting a wired fast charging feature of up to 120W, just like their predecessors.
To add, previously these two iQOO Neo 10 series models were listed on China’s MIIT database too, but back then no clues concerning their monikers were known. Looking at the previous iQOO Neo 9 series, the iQOO Neo 9 and iQOO Neo 9 Pro models debuted in China in December 2023, followed by iQOO Neo 9S Pro in May 2024 and iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ in July 2024. Considering this, the next iQOO Neo 10 and iQOO Neo 10 Pro smartphones can hit the Chinese market in the month of December 2024.
Regarding the expected specifications of the upcoming devices, the iQOO Neo 10 is said to arrive equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, whereas the iQOO Neo 10 Pro could be powered by the newer Dimensity 9400 chip. Both the models are also expected to pack 6000+ mAh batteries (maybe 6500 mAh according to older updates). The previous updates also suggest specs like gaming-friendly flat 1.5K display, metal middle frame, Android 15 based OriginOS 5 (in China), and ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader.
As the expected launch time frame is quite near and since the devices have already made it two Chinese certification platforms, it is possible that more updates are on the way, and which will reveal more about the upcoming sub-flagships. Do stay tuned for it.
