Meizu 22 Series Smartphones Tipped, Revealing Certain Key Features and Launch Time Frame
Following the Meizu 21 series devices, the Chinese smartphone maker seems to have started the works with its next Meizu 22 series. A new update has arrived from a well-known Weibo tipster regarding two of the upcoming Meizu 22 series smartphones. Via his Weibo update, certain key features and the launch time frame have been revealed.

Meizu 22 Series – Tipped Details
This update comes from the tipster Smart Pikachu who has again pointed out that the next Meizu 22 series will be coming next year in 2025. He talks about large screen and small screen models with a straight display panel, suggesting that these could be the next Meizu 22 and Meizu 22 Pro smartphones. Moreover, he notes that they are likely to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, feature a White rear panel, and offer car-machine interconnection. Additionally, an AI key is also said to be in tests, revealing the brand’s aim in providing AI capabilities on the two upcoming devices.
Just to note, to a user’s query concerning the approximate time at which Meizu plans to unveil its Meizu 22 and Meizu 22 Pro models, Smart Pikachu has commented ‘Q1’. This means that we might be able to witness their debut possibly early next year itself. [Previously, it was also reported that Meizu 22 series won’t break its cover until 2025, and will probably be delayed with respect to the Meizu 21 series launch time frame.]
Speaking of the previous Meizu 21 series, we saw the launch of three smartphone models under the series – Meizu 21, Meizu 21 Pro, and Meizu 21 Note. Among the three, the vanilla Meizu 21 came in November 2023, whereas the other two were unveiled in February and May of 2024. Both the Meizu 21 and Meizu 21 Pro models equipped the then latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, while the Meizu 21 Note was powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
