Motorola Razr 50 Found Listed On UAE’s TDRA Certification Website, Launch Imminent

Motorola’s upcoming clamshell foldable smartphones have begun appearing on certification websites. The phones have been spotted on websites like China’s TENAA, 3C, and UAE’s TDRA. The Motorola Razr 50 has now appeared on UAE’s TDRA certification website with the model number XT2453-1 and equipment registration number ER32100/24. The listing confirms its global availability and also brings it a step closer to the launch. The rest of the things about this smartphone still remain under the wrap.

This phone was recently found listed on China’s 3C certification website revealing that Motorola Razr 50 may ship an MC-338 charger, which supports up to 33W fast charging. It’s similar to the Motorola Razr 40 charging capabilities which means no such improvement in this. Its TENAA listing brought out some of the key information about its specs and design.

As per the listing, the Razr 50 will feature the same inner display size of 6.9 inches, while the outer display is slightly smaller at 3.6 inches with a color depth of 10bit per pixel (1.07 billion color palette). The company has opted for an OLED display for both the inner and cover sides.

The inner screen has a resolution of 1080 × 2640 pixels, while the outer display has a resolution of 1056 × 1066 pixels. Regarding battery capacity, the TENAA listing shows a dual battery with rated capacities of 1074mAh and 2875mAh. This totals 3949mAh, which is expected to be marketed as 4200mAh. In the camera department, we can get to see a dual camera setup on the rear featuring a 50MP and a 13MP camera, while on the front it can come with a 32MP selfie shooter.
