Motorola’s Latest Razr 50s Foldable Smartphone Appears on the Google Play Console Supported Products List
Motorola had unveiled its Razr 50 series with the Razr 50 (or Razr 2024) and Razr 50 Ultra (or Razr+ 2024) models back in June 2024, and from early last month onwards, we have been hearing about the arrival of a cheaper model – the Razr 50s. The device has already been released in the Japanese market and is made available for reservation or purchase via the Softbank website.
Now, we have spotted the latest Razr 50s device on the Google Play Console Supported Products List, following its listing on Geekbench (1040 single-core and 3003 points multi-core test results) and HDR10+ (supports HDR10+ display) databases. This means, the device could soon be debuting in other global markets as well.
Motorola Razr 50s – Spotted on Google Play Console Supported Products List
On the Google Play Console Supported Products List, the Motorola Razr 50s has been listed with its codename – ‘aito’ and its moniker has been mentioned on the database. While nothing else in particular has been revealed via this listing, it points out that the device may soon be launching in other global markets too apart from Japan.
The Motorola Razr 50s became official through its listing on the Softbank website, and it was released on the 27th of September 2024 in Japan. The full specifications of the device is already thus known.
Motorola Razr 50s – Key Specifications
The Motorola Razr 50s is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300X chipset, runs on Android 14, and offers 8GB of RAM & 256GB of internal storage. It features a 6.9″ OLED foldable main display (2640 x 1080 pixels) and 3.6″ OLED cover display (1056 x 1066 pixels). A 50MP + 13MP dual rear camera unit and a 32MP front-facing camera are present on the device. A 4200 mAh battery is backed within, and it supports a USB Type-C charging interface. Other key specs include 5G network connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax with triple band support (6GHz, 5GHz, & 2.4GHz), Bluetooth 5.4, fingerprint scanner & face unlock, IPX8-rated body, 15.9mm(folded) & 7.3mm(unfolded) thickness, and 188 gm weight.
Three color variants are available for the Razr 50s smartphone – Sand Cream, Spritz Orange, and Koala Grey. In Japan, it is priced JPY 115,200 (~ INR 63,171; USD 751).
