Motorola’s Next Moto G Power 2025 Spotted on WPC Certification Platform: Wireless Charging Spec and Renders Revealed

The upcoming Motorola smartphone, the Moto G Power 2025, has now made it to the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) certification platform. Via the listing, the wireless charging spec and renders of the smartphone have been revealed.

Here’s more about it.

Moto G Power 2025 – Wireless Power Consortium Certification

The Moto G Power 2025 smartphone from Motorola which carries the model number of ‘XT2515’ has been certified by the WPC authority with the QI ID – ‘22948’. Its version is pointed out to be ‘1.3.3’, and is revealed to support a 15W wireless fast charging feature, just like its predecessor, the March 2024-released Moto G Power 2024.

Moreover, the product design of the device has also been revealed via the renders. From what it seems, Motorola has adopted a design that is similar to a few of its latest smartphone models, featuring a flat display screen, flat rear panel with curved sides, flat side panels, and a blended camera module with four internal circular units. Its length x width x depth dimension is 166.62 x 77.1 x 8.72 mm.

Speaking more, the display features a centrally-aligned punch-hole selfie camera and slim bezels, but with a thicker chin. The camera module appears to consist of only two camera sensors and an LED flashlight like the Moto G75 5G, each inside the internal circular units, while one remains vacant. The Motorola logo can also be found at the center of the rear panel.

Coming to the sides, at the right, we are able to find the volume rocker and power button, and below which we are also able to spot a hole opening. The left side panel only has the card tray, whereas the top portion again has a hole opening. Towards the bottom, we can see the 3.5mm headphone jack, main microphone hole, USB type-C port, and speaker grilles. To add, the two hole openings may have additional microphones, meaning the Moto G Power 2025 could offer triple mics in total, similar to the Edge 50 Pro and Edge 50 Ultra models.

Apart from its appearance on the WPC certification database, nothing more in particular about this upcoming Motorola device is known yet. However, one thing is for sure. The device will be launching this year in 2025, and considering that it is soon going to be one year since the debut of the previous Moto G Power 2024 model, we may witness the launch of the latest Moto G Power 2025 model in a few months.
