While OnePlus has already announced that it won’t have a foldable smartphone for its consumers this year in 2025, the tech world expects the brand to unveil a new tablet model, likely the next OnePlus Pad 3 as the successor of the July 2024-released OnePlus Pad 2. As the previous OnePlus Pad 2 is also a re-branded version of the OPPO Pad 3 Pro, the upcoming OnePlus Pad 3 may be launched as a re-branded version of OPPO’s Pad 4 Pro tablet which is scheduled to launch in China on the 10th of April 2025, this week. About the OPPO Pad 4 Pro, teaser updates have revealed key specs such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, Tiangong cooling unit, 13.2″ large display (with 3.4K resolution and 900 nits brightness), Hi-Fi grade eight speaker system, 12140 mAh battery backup, and more. Its Geekbench and 3C listings also revealed the 16GB RAM option and the 80W wired fast charging capability.

Considering all these, the now BIS-certified OnePlus ‘OPD2415’ could be the OnePlus Pad 3 tablet and the re-branded OPPO Pad 4 Pro (assuming), however it is not yet confirmed. Probably in the coming days, more updates concerning the upcoming OnePlus tablet may be shared, which will bring better clarity regarding its moniker and other details.

Stay tuned.
