Nothing Phone (2a)’s new variant receives BIS certification
In March, Nothing unveiled the Nothing Phone (2a) in India. Before the launch, the device was spotted with the A142 model number on different certification platforms. Now, a new Nothing device bearing the A142P model number has appeared in the database of India’s BIS certification platform. It appears that this could be a new version of the Phone (2a).
The BIS certification only confirms the existence of the A142P variant but does not reveal anything else about it. The inclusion of the letter “P” in the model number is a good hint that it could be a Pro variant of the Phone (2a). At present, there is no clarity on how the alleged Nothing Phone (2a) Pro will differ from its regular version.
