Nothing’s upcoming phone might be called Nothing Phone (2a) Plus, moniker spotted on Jio mobile compatibility app

Nothing has recently launched the blue variant of the Nothing Phone (2a) in the Indian market. Just two days ago, it posted a picture of a Pokémon called Mega Aerodactyl, which is associated with the number 142. This led to speculation that it might refer to a better version of the Nothing Phone (2a) or perhaps a community edition smartphone. There have been many rumours and speculations about what name this new version of the Nothing Phone (2a) will take.

Back in April, a new model number “A142P,” which shares similarities with the Nothing Phone 2a, was spotted and rumoured to be a better version of the Nothing Phone 2a.

However, it now appears that the Jio mobile compatibility app has unearthed the name of this improved version of the Nothing Phone (2a).

While searching the list of compatible phones from Nothing in the app, it shows the moniker Nothing Phone (2a) Plus.

However, there is currently no information available regarding the hardware specifications it may come with. We will have to wait and see whether it will feature a new chipset or just an overclocked version of the Nothing Phone 2a.
