OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, OnePlus 13 key details tipped well before launch

So far, OnePlus has launched two Ace-branded smartphones in China this year.  In January, the brand unveiled the Ace 3, whereas this month saw the arrival of the Ace 3V. While the Ace 3 is rebranded as the OnePlus 12R in the global market, the Ace 3V is expected to launch soon in the global market with the Nord 4 branding. OnePlus is expected to launch the Ace 3 Pro as a successor to last year’s Ace 2 Pro. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station released a Weibo post to reveal a few key specifications of the Ace 3 Pro along with its launch timeframe.

According to DCS’s Weibo post, the Ace 3 Pro will have an OLED 8T LTPO panel with curved edges. The screen will support a 1.5K resolution. In terms of the build, the device will have a metal middle frame and a glass back.

The Ace 3 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and is likely to pack a large battery with 100W fast charging support. Previous reports revealed that the device will offer up to 24 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of storage.

For photography, it will have a 50-megapixel primary camera. It appears that the camera department will receive a minor upgrade as compared to the Ace 2 Pro from last year. As far as launch is concerned, the Ace 3 Pro is expected to debut in the third quarter of this year.

DCS also shed some information about the OnePlus 13. He revealed that the company is currently testing incorporating an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner from a domestic brand. He also said that the device will launch in the fourth quarter of this year.
