The smartphone brand OnePlus unveiled OnePlus Ace 3 smartphone at the beginning of this year while in June, 2024 OnePlus Ace 3 Pro made its debut. There was no update regarding the launch of another smartphone under the Ace series till now but now tipster Digital Chat Station has shared some key details regarding the OnePlus Ace 5 smartphone which suggests that the device is currently under work.
According to the tipster, the OnePlus Ace 5 is said to pack a 6.78-inch 8T LTPO micro curved display that offers a 1.5k screen resolution. It is tipped to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and sports a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main camera. It could be backed by a 6200mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging. It is also said to feature an alert slider just like the previous OnePlus smartphones.
Seems like OnePlus will be skipping the Ace 4 naming and launching the OnePlus Ace 5 as the successor of the OnePlus Ace 3. It is expected that the OnePlus Ace 5 might make its debut later this year in China. Also if you remember, OnePlus Ace 3 was launched as OnePlus 12R in the global markets, hence it is possible that OnePlus Ace 5 could arrive as OnePlus 13R in global markets, though this is just an assumption, therefore, users are advised to take this information with a pinch of salt.
OnePlus is already rumored to be working on OnePlus 13 smartphone and the rumor mill has been buzzing with updates regarding this upcoming device.
