OnePlus Ace 5S Series Said to Release Next Year in 2025: Comments Chinese Tipster

While the tech world is anxiously waiting for the Ace 5 series debut this month, a Chinese tipster on the Weibo platform has commented that next year we could also be seeing the release of an Ace 5S series as well. It is believed that OnePlus might be planning to adopt this approach in order to capture more market share.

OnePlus Ace 5S Series Tipped – Arriving Next Year?

This update comes from the well-known tipster on the Weibo platform – Digital Chat Station, who to a Weibo user’s query on whether OnePlus may launch an Ace 5 Pro Max model or not has answered by stating that an Ace 5 Pro Max model won’t be unveiled, rather next year in 2025, the brand could be unveiling a new line-up called the Ace 5S series.

Following the update, another Weibo user has also pointed out that OnePlus might be imitating Vivo and by releasing more smartphone models could be aiming to increase its market share.

As noted above, the Ace 5S series if it releases would be an entirely new smartphone line and we don’t have any reference to previous models. However, it will possibly share some spec similarities with the Ace 5 series.

OnePlus has already officially teased its Ace 5 series in China, and the expected launch is going to take place this month in December 2024. Unlike the previous series, this time we may be seeing both the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro models breaking their cover together. The former is believed to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, whereas the latter is expected to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. To add, the render image of the Ace 5 model was also leaked late last month and just recently, we spotted the device on the Geekbench platform too.
