Oppo A3x 5G With Model Number CPH2693 Spotted On Google Play Console, Could Be A Wrong Listing; Model Number Also Spotted On BIS
Oppo A3x has been creating a lot of buzz on the internet over the past few days. This smartphone is expected to come in both 4G and 5G variants for the global markets, while only the 5G variant is expected to be released in the Chinese market, albeit with different specs. The Oppo A3x 4G (CPH2641) has already bagged TDRA, FCC, IMDA, and TUV certifications while the Chinese variant of Oppo A3x 5G (PKD130) was spotted on the Google Play Console Supported Devices list and China Telecom website.
The Tech Outlook also exclusively revealed to you the design and specs of the Oppo A3x 5G Indian variant a few days back. Oppo A3x 5G Chinese and Indian variants differ from each other in terms of specs and design. Well, today a discovery on the Google Play Console database has given us a surprise. The Tech Outlook spotted Oppo A3x 5G with model number CPH2693 on the Google Play Console website.
It is assumed that this could be a wrong listing, as the above database reveals that the smartphone could be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC, will offer 6GB RAM, 720×1604 screen resolution, 320 dpi screen density, and will run on Android 14 OS.
As per our reliable insider, we exclusively revealed to you that the Oppo A3x 5G Indian variant will arrive with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC that will be paired with 4GB RAM and up to 128GB internal storage.
Well, this same thing happened with iQOO Z9 Lite, where the Google Play Console listing mentioned that the device would arrive with a Dimensity 6100+ SoC but later it came with a Dimensity 6300 chipset.
Based on this it is assumed that this might be a wrong listing. Apart from Google Play Console, Oppo CPH2693 was also spotted on India’s BIS certification website, but the database did not reveal the moniker.
