OPPO A5i Smartphone Appears on the TDRA and TUV Rheinland Certification Databases: Battery and Charging Details Revealed

The Chinese smartphone maker, OPPO, is planning to release one more new A-series smartphone model in the market. This upcoming device has now been certified by the TDRA and TUV Rheinland certification authorities. Also, its battery and charging specs have also been revealed.

OPPO A5i – TDRA and TUV Rheinland Certifications

The OPPO ‘CPH2773’ smartphone which is revealed to be the upcoming OPPO A5i device has received the TDRA certification with the equipment registration number of ‘ER42292/25’, and its moniker has been mentioned on the TDRA database. The device is categorized as a ‘mobile phone’, and its TDRA certification validity will be till the 4th of March 2028.

It has received the TUV Rheinland certification with the certificate number – ‘JPTUV-161202-A1/M2’. Again, on the TUV Rheinland certification platform too, it is categorized as a ‘mobile phone’ device. About its revealed battery and charging specs, it is mentioned to pack a 4970 mAh battery (likely rated value) and support up to 45W wired fast charging.

Also to note, the OPPO A5i has been listed along with the brand’s already-launched A3 (CPH2669) and A3x (CPH2641) smartphone models of 2024 (OPPO A3 was also re-branded as the OPPO A40 4G for Mexico). These devices offered a 5100 mAh battery backup (typical value), with the 45W wired fast charging support.

Furthermore, via the TDRA certification, its launch in UAE has been confirmed. The TUV Rheinland database on the other hand mentions a few country codes (EU, CA, US, SA), suggesting its launch in Europe, Canada, United States, and in Saudi Arabia.
