OPPO Find N5 Foldable Smartphone Lens Arrangement and Camera Module Design Tipped Ahead of Launch
OPPO officials – Zhou Yibao (OPPO Product Manager) and Liu Zuohu/Peta Lau (OPPO Chief Product Officer) had recently revealed few key aspects of the upcoming Find N5 foldable and this latest flagship from the brand has been confirmed to make its debut next month in China, while few certifications pointed to its later global launch too.
As we approach the launch time frame, the lens arrangement as well as the camera module design details of this OPPO device have been tipped online on the Weibo platform. Let’s now look more into the new update.
OPPO Find N5 – Tipped Lens Arrangement and Camera Module Design Details
Based on this Weibo update (received via Experience more), it has been pointed out that the lens arrangement in OPPO’s Find N5 is simple and looks a bit similar to that of the latest OnePlus 13 device. It is suggested to be a circular camera module, housing four interior circular units. Of the four, the flash is placed inside the fourth interior unit at the lower right corner, whereas the telephoto lens is positioned inside the first interior unit at the upper left corner. However, it is to be noted here that tipster Digital Chat Station’s earlier post stated that it may not have an upright telephoto lens.
Speaking more, the lens bulge or camera module projection has been well controlled. It has already been said that OPPO’s Find N5 will be featuring a thin form factor design, and the brand is believed to be careful so as to not increase the camera module projection.
About the previous updates, the OPPO Find N5 foldable smartphone is revealed to have an internal codename – ‘Seagull’, and it is going to arrive as the thinnest folding flagship. It is expected to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip as its processor, and also come with possible specs such as a 6.85″± 1.5K resolution LTPO main display, hyperbolic (likely curved) super large cover display, 50MP (1/1.5) large bottom main camera, 50MP (1/2.76″) ultra-wide camera, wireless charging, full-size NFC, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and an IPX8-rated body.
The final product is also ready as per recent updates, and as mentioned above, the official launch is scheduled to take place next month in February 2025 in the Chinese market. Additionally, the global launch has also been confirmed with the SDPPI, SIRIM, and Camera FV 5 certifications.
More updates are going to be shared soon in the coming days, which will be revealing more details, including the official launch date. In the meantime, you may check out everything that we have covered so far about OPPO’s Find N5 device here.
