Oppo Find X series can make a comeback with the Find X8 series. It was buzzing in various reports a few months ago, though we didn’t have anything concrete to back this claim. Now ahead of the launch a smartphone with the model number CPH2659 has appeared on India’s BIS. This is believed to be the Oppo Find X8 Pro smartphone. An X user named Anir Chakraborty has shared the screengrab of the listing on X. In the post, he has also highlighted some additional details of the listing. It mentions that the smartphone with the model number CPH2659 will be manufactured in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

First of all, India’s BIS certification confirms the launch of this phone which is believed to be a Find X8 Pro smartphone. Second, this phone will not be imported in India but will be manufactured in India thus not only ensuring its good availability but also at a slightly low price. This model number has also been spotted on certification websites like IMDA, EEC, and Indonesian certification websites.
The Chinese variant of the Oppo Find X8 series smartphones has already cleared 3C and MIIT certification. The series is said to comprise Oppo Find X8, Find X8 Pro, and Find X8 Pro Satellite Version. All three devices are revealed to support 80W fast charging. Oppo Find X8 smartphone can come with the Dimensity 9400 processor. Previous reports suggest that the Pro variant can be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset.
Oppo Find X8 smartphones can come with a 1.5K + resolution display. The Oppo Find X8 can come with a 6.5-inch wide display while the Oppo Find X8 Pro smartphone can come with a 6.7 to 6.8-inch display. As far as the camera department is concerned the Pro variant can come with four 50MP megapixel cameras of which two can be periscope cameras.
