OPPO Find X8 Ultra Receives CMIIT Certification of China; More Key Specs Tipped

OPPO, the Chinese smartphone maker, is believed to launch two more devices in its Find X8 series next year and now, the Ultra model of the series has been certified by the CMIIT certification authority. Along with this, a tipster on the Weibo platform has again tipped its key specs.

This update comes from the tipster – Digital Chat Station, who has pointed out that the engineering machine of the upcoming Find X8 Ultra features a single-point ultrasonic fingerprint reader, 6K± silicon battery, and 80W wired and 50W wireless fasting charging capabilities.

Moreover, he shares that the Find X8 Ultra which bears the model number – ‘PKH120’ has gotten the CMIIT radio transmission equipment model approval in China, and it is the first Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered device to receive it. Some notable key specs revealed includes the Tiantong Satellite Communication Technology, one-inch dual-focal-length dual-mid-bottom periscope telephoto system, Hasselblad multi-spectral sensor, and a glass body.

Previously, this same tipster also tipped that the Find X8 Ultra would probably be having a codename – ‘Everest’, and the prototype suggested a possible 2K display screen. Apart from the the Find X8 Ultra, a Find X8 mini model is also said to arrive in the series, with expected specs like Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, 6.3″ 1.5K pure straight display, and periscope telephoto lens. As per reports, the launch of the Find X8 Ultra and Find X8 mini devices are believed to take place next year in Q1 2025, either in the month of March or April (in Spring 2025).

Just to add, following the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro debut in China, the two have also now been launched in many global markets too, including India.
