Oppo Find X8 Ultra Smartphone Tipped To Feature Four 50MP Camera, And Can Ditch IMX858 Periscope Lens
Oppo launched the Oppo Find X7 series smartphone earlier this year in China and received an overwhelming response from the buyers. The ultra model stood out among its competitors with its camera features that include 50MP LYT 900 main camera, 50MP LYT 600 Ultra wide camera, 50MP IMX890 65mm 3x periscope camera, and 50MP IMX858 135mm 6x periscope camera.
For a few months, the market has been buzzing with the Oppo Find X8 series reports and speculations. Now the famous tipster named DCS has tipped the camera specs of the Oppo Find X8 Ultra smartphone. As per the tipster, the smartphone currently features four 50-megapixel cameras on the back, of which two of the cameras can be periscope telephoto units.
He further mentioned that its prototype is set to exceed the capabilities of a 200-megapixel periscope lens. This simply means that the company can launch this phone with better optical zoom capabilities than its predecessor. The smartphone can skip the Sony IMX858 camera that we had seen in the Oppo X7 Ultra smartphone. There is not much concrete available around this series now though the DCS said earlier in its post that this series can be launched in early Q4 this year.
The Oppo Find X8 might be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset and Find X8 Ultra could arrive with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. Other than this Find X8 is expected to feature an optical in-screen fingerprint sensor while the Ultra model may arrive with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.
