Oppo Pad 3 3C certified in China, launch imminent

Oppo recently confirmed that it will announce the Reno 12 series of smartphones on May 23 in China. The brand is also expected to unveil a couple of other products, such as the Oppo Pad 3 tablet and Enco-branded TWS earbuds. There’s no confirmation on whether these devices will debut alongside the Reno 12 lineup. A recent leak suggested that it may launch in June or July. However, China’s 3C authority has approved the Pad 3, suggesting that its arrival is not too far away.

The 3C regulatory body has certified a new Oppo tablet with model number OPD2404, as shown in the screenshot above. The rumored device is believed to be the upcoming Oppo Pad 3 tablet.

The 3C certification reveals that the device will come with support for 67W fast charging. According to rumors about the device, it will have a 9,510mAh battery.

According to other reports, the Oppo Pad 3 will feature a 12.x-inch LCD panel that offers a 3K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the tablet will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

The highest configuration of the Oppo Pad 3 is expected to offer 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of built-in storage. It is likely that the base variants of the device may offer an 8GB+256GB configuration. The tablet is expected to run on Android 14 with a layer of ColorOS for Pad.
