Oppo Pad 3 aka OnePlus Pad 2 spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SOC

Oppo is making a strong comeback. A new tablet has been spotted on the Geekbench listing with the model number “OPD2404.” While some speculate it to be the OnePlus Pad 2, this model number was earlier claimed to be the Oppo Pad 3, as it was sighted on the 3C certification with the same model number “OPD2404.”

Just a few days ago, I spotted a model number “OPD2403” on the BIS and Camera FV-5 certifications.  Although the moniker wasn’t listed, I believe it is the OnePlus Pad 2, as the camera specs were a giveaway. According to Camera FV-5, it is revealed to have a 13.1MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.

Since the Oppo Pad 2 didn’t come to India and was launched as a rebranded OnePlus Pad, the same will likely happen again. This means the Oppo Pad 3, which is tipped to have the same camera specs, will come to the global markets as the OnePlus Pad 2.

Coming back to the Geekbench listing, it shows it will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SOC paired with an Adreno 750 GPU. It has managed to get a single core score of 2103 while the multicore score is 6297. The listing also revealed it to have 8GB of RAM  and will boot from Android 14 out of the box.

Oppo Pad 3 aka OnePlus Pad 2 (Expected Specs)

Earlier leaks have indicated a 12.1-inch LCD panel with a 3K resolution of 3000 x 2120 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the screen will offer a custom 7:5 aspect ratio, a pixel density of 304 PPI, and a peak brightness of 900 nits. It will come preloaded with Android 14, layered with ColorOS for Pad.

Oppo Pad 3 will be equipped with an 8-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel rear camera. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the tablet will include 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. It will also feature a 9,510mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging.
