Oppo Pad 3’s full specifications leaked before launch
Oppo has just launched the Oppo Reno 12 series of smartphones in the Chinese market. While the rumour mill talked about the existence of the Oppo Pad 3 tablet, the brand did not unveil it alongside the Reno 12 series. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station shared detailed information about the Pad 3, the world’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered tablet, in a Weibo post.

According to the leaker, the Oppo Pad 3 will house a 12.1-inch LCD panel that offers a 3K resolution of 3000 x 2120 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate. In addition, the screen will offer a custom 7:5 screen ratio, a pixel density of 304 PPI, and a peak brightness of 900 nits. The device will come preloaded with Android 14, which will have a layer of ColorOS for Pad on top.
The Pad 3 will have an 8-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel camera on the back. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered tablet will arrive with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. The Pad 3 will be equipped with a 9,510mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.
The Pad 3’s all-metal body will offer a sleek design with fingerprint-free unlocking, and it supports the OPPO Pencil 2, enhanced with a linear motor. The tablet is expected to launch in June in China. It is expected to be rebranded as the OnePlus Pad 2 in the global market.
