Oppo Reno 12F 5G Spotted on Malaysian SIRIM Certification, FCC, Camera FV-5, TDRA,ECC, Set to Launch Soon as Next F Series Smartphone in India
Update: As of May 31, 2024, adding to my previous findings, the Oppo Reno 12F 5G has also been spotted in the TDRA, EEC, FCC, and Camera FV5 certifications, all under the model number “CPH2637.” According to 91mobiles, the Camera FV5, EEC, and TDRA certifications reveal that the device will feature a 50MP main rear camera and a front selfie shooter. The FCC certification indicates that the battery has the model number “BLPA79” and is accompanied by a charging adapter with the model number “VCB4JAUH.” Further investigation shows that the “BLPA79” battery has a capacity of 4870 mAh, likely to be marketed as a 5000 mAh battery. The charging adapter “VCB4JAUH” supports 45W fast charging, meaning the device will come with a 45W SuperVOOC charger.
The Oppo Reno 12 series was recently unveiled in the Chinese market and is expected to hit global markets, including India, with different specs. However, today I have another important revelation: just like the Reno 11F, Oppo will be launching the Reno 12F in the global market. It is also expected to debut in the Indian market as the next F series smartphone.
How am I making these claims? I have spotted the Oppo Reno 12F 5G on the SIRIM certification website with the model number “CPH2637”. No further details regarding the specs can be found on this certification. However, I earlier saw the same model number “CPH2637” on the Indian BIS certification.
At that time, I didn’t know the moniker, but thanks to the SIRIM certification and considering the past launch of the Reno 11F, I can say that it is the next F series smartphone for the Indian market. Adding to the confirmation, I have also verified this with an offline retailer who mentioned that a new F series smartphone is on its way. Although he didn’t specify the exact model, and I don’t want to speculate on the moniker. So, I will wait for more details regarding the moniker in the Indian market.
It is likely that the Oppo Reno 12F will have a different design and specs compared to the Reno 12 or 12 Pro. This assumption is based on how Oppo previously launched the Reno 11F in the global market and then introduced it as the F25 Pro in the Indian market.
Beyond this, I don’t have any rumored specs to share or a specific launch timeline at this time. However, according to my source, the launch of the next F series smartphone in India could possibly occur in June or July of this year.
