Oppo Watch With Model Number OWW251 Spotted On MIIT Certification
Recently an alleged OnePlus Watch 3 with model number OPWWE251 was spotted on the FCC certification website and today a slightly similar model number has been spotted on MIIT with the applicant name Oppo.
@91mobiles spotted an Oppo watch with model number OWW251 on the MIIT certification website. The moniker is not revealed but due to the similarity in model numbers, it is assumed that this could be the rebranded version of the OnePlus Watch 3.
The database reveals that the Oppo smartwatch will support TD-LTE/LTE FDD/WCDMA connectivity options. It will arrive as an LTE single antenna terminal device and will support eSIM technology with an independent eUICC chip. The operating system mentioned is Android.
Earlier this year, Oppo unveiled the Oppo Watch X which was similar in design and hardware to the OnePlus Watch 2. Therefore there are chances that this mysterious Oppo watch could be the rebranded version of the upcoming OnePlus Watch 3.
The recent FCC listing of the alleged OnePlus Watch 3 revealed that the watch will measure 46.6mm*47.6mm*11.75mm. It is shown to be backed by a 631 mAh rated battery and a 648 mAh typical battery. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, NSS, NFC, and 2.4 GHz/5 GHz WiFi.
