OPPO Watch X2 Mini Smartwatch Certified by Malaysia’s SIRIM Authority

The Chinese consumer electronics maker – OPPO will be officially debuting its latest Watch X2 Mini smartwatch in its home market early next month and just a few days before it, we have spotted the upcoming device on the SIRIM certification platform of Malaysia. Via the listing, its launch in this global market has also been confirmed.

OPPO Watch X2 Mini – SIRIM Certification
The OPPO Watch X2 Mini smartwatch bearing the model number – ‘OWWE242’ has appeared on the SIRIM database, and it has received the certification with the type approval code of ‘RDCX/14L/0325/S(25-1261)’. Its moniker (~ OPPO Watch X2 mini) has also been listed on the certification database, and the device is categorized as a ‘WATCH’. The SIRIM certification validity will be till the 20th of March 2030.
To note, as mentioned above, the SIRIM certification is a strong indication that OPPO’s Watch X2 Mini will also be launched in the global market, and its availability in Malaysia has been confirmed.
About its official debut date, it is set to take place on the 10th of April 2025 in China, and apart from the Watch X2 Mini smartwatch, the brand also plans to unveil its Find X8 Ultra, Find X8s, Find X8s+, Pad 4 Pro, Enco Free 4, and 27W Ice Wing Magnetic Cooling Back Clip devices too at the major launch event.
Speaking more, the OPPO Watch X2 Mini smartwatch was teased by the brand in the recent past days, pointing out design specs such as the Shining Gold color choice (featuring a White x Gold color scheme), rotatable crown along with a physical functional button at the right side panel, leather straps, and a form factor smaller than the already-launched OPPO Watch X2 device.
