OPPO’s Find X8 Ultra Launch Time Frame Revealed; New Find X8S Series Phones Also Tipped to Arrive in Same Period

Via a new update, the upcoming Find X8 Ultra launch time frame has been revealed. Along with this, the report also speaks of the new Find X8S series phones, and they are also expected to hit the market in the same period.

Find X8 Ultra and Find X8S Series Phones – Revealed Launch Time Frame

This update comes from the Chinese tipster – Digital Chat Station, who in a Weibo post has revealed that OPPO officials has stated that the Find X8 Ultra flagship smartphone will be unveiled in the month of April 2025, this year, as expected. Additionally, the tipster’s Weibo update also notes that the new Find X8S series phones are also believed to arrive in the same period. He further adds that the Find X8S series phones will possibly be using MediaTek’s ‘new Dimensity platform’, while the Find X8 Ultra is going to use a different chip.

In related news, the OPPO Product Manager – Zhou Yibao has also shared that the Find X8 Ultra may be the only straight-screen ultra model smartphone in China, and it may also be the narrowest (~ thinnest) in the world. His post also points out that the Find X8 Ultra will be made available to Chinese customers for purchase as well in the same month it is said to be unveiled, in April 2025.

Looking at previous updates, OPPO’s Find X8 Ultra model has already been a part of multiple reports, and it is suggested to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Regarding the Find X8S series phones, based on the same tipster’s earlier update, it is likely that these devices could come equipped with the Dimensity 9400+ chip of MediaTek. Also, apart from the mentioned devices, there is a Find X8 mini model too in work and it is also expected to launch along with the Find X8 Ultra, as per the earlier update.

Speaking more, the Find X8 Ultra has received the Radio and CMIIT certifications from China, and other than the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, it is expected to feature a 50MP (main, 1″) + 50MP (ultrawide) + 50MP (periscope telephoto, 3x zoom) + 50MP (periscope telephoto, 6x zoom) quad rear cameras, 6K± battery backup, 80W wired + 50W wireless fast charging, and an ultrasonic single-point under-display fingerprint scanner.
