OPPO Reno 13 Series – Revealed Design Specs
The upcoming OPPO Reno 13 series is said to include two smartphone models – the Reno 13 and the Reno 13 Pro, and the two show great resemblance with Apple’s latest iPhone devices in terms of design. Moreover, when looking at the design specs, the Reno 13 series has impressive features when compared to other competitor products, and is believed to be the only smartphones to have a metal middle frame in this segment. Digital Chat Station also suggests that the extremely narrow frame is quite rare too.
Speaking more, the tipster went on to reveal the front design of the vanilla Reno 13 smartphone, comparing it side by side with an iPhone device. As previously noted, the Reno 13 model features symmetrical and even thinner bezels on all four sides when compared with the iPhone device. Additionally, it seems that the width is somewhat similar, but with a longer length. A centrally-aligned punch-hole selfie camera is also among the notable design specs.
In total, the straight display with narrow bezels, metal middle frame, and the rear panel texture (possibly glass back with matte finish) of the Reno 13 smartphone is not inferior to that of the iPhone device, and will thereby be offering its users a good in-hand feel with respect to its design.
About the expected/revealed specs, the Reno 13 series smartphones are expected to use MediaTek’s 8350 processor, and the Reno 13 Pro is claimed to be the first device to be powered by this chip. A 1.5K display is also expected to be featured on the two, with the Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro possibly having screen sizes of 6.59″ and 6.83″ respectively. A 50MP main camera, a 50MP front-facing camera, a periscope telephoto lens (maybe only for pro), 5600 mAh and 5900 mAh silicon batteries respectively for Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro, magnetic wireless charging spec, X-axis motor, stereo dual speakers, IP68/69 dust and water resistant bodies, and thin and light form factors are the other expected specs of the soon-to-be-unveiled smartphones.
Regarding the launch date, the Reno 13 series launch is tentatively scheduled on the 25th of November 2024, however, an official update on this is still pending. As mentioned, the Pad 3 tablet is also likely going to be released along with the Reno 13 series smartphones on the same day.
Just to add, following its debut in China this month, the Reno 13 series will also be launched in several global markets – Singapore, Indonesia, Europe, as we have spotted the two on the IMDA, EEC, TKDN, Camera FV5, and SDPPI global certification databases. The Indian launch is also believed to take place in January 2025.
