OPPO’s Upcoming Find N5 Foldable (Global Variant) Spotted on SIRIM, SDPPI, and Camera FV 5 Databases
The next foldable smartphone from OPPO which is expected to debut as the strongest foldable of the first of half of next year with possibly no competitors – the Find N5, after previous updates and reports, has made it to the SIRIM, SDPPI, and Camera FV 5 certification databases. To add, this is the global variant of the upcoming foldable smartphone and via the listings, the global launch in the respective global markets have also been confirmed.

OPPO Find N5 (Global Variant) – SIRIM, SDPPI, and Camera FV 5 Certifications
The global variant of the OPPO Find N5 smartphone bearing the model number ‘CPH2671’ has received the SIRIM certification from Malaysia with the type approval code of ‘RGQL/22I/1224/S(24-5928)’, and has been categorized under the ‘Mobile Phone’ section. Its certification validity will be till the 30th of December 2029, and its moniker has been listed on the database.
On the Indonesian SDPPI database, it has been certified with the certificate number of ‘106682/SDPPI/2024’ and PLG ID of ‘6813’. Again, it is categorized as a ‘Mobile Phone’ device. Moreover, from what has been suggested, this device would be manufactured in China itself.
Finally coming to the Camera FV 5 listing, notably, the rear camera is mentioned as 12.6 MP and after Pixel Binning, it would be 50MP (12.6 x 4). In a similar way, the front-facing camera is mentioned to be 7.1MP and following Pixel Binning, it is revealed to be 28MP. Moreover, the rear camera and front facing cameras support EIS (electronic image stabilization). When the front camera has a 1.9mm focal length and f/2.4 aperture, the rear camera offers 5.0mm focal length and f/1.9 aperture.
Speaking of its predecessor, the 2023-released Find N3 sports a 48MP(Wide) + 64MP(Telephoto) + 48MP(Ultrawide) triple camera system, and 20MP and 32MP front facing cameras on the main display and cover display respectively.
Regarding its launch, OPPO is believed to unveil the Find N5 foldable early next year after the Chinese New Year or Spring Festival (29th January 2025) in Q1 2025. It was also reported recently that the device is ready and certain features are now confirmed. About the revealed/expected features, it includes the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, Android 15 based ColorOS 15 custom skin, larger main and cover displays with a 2K resolution ultra-flat main display, 50MP(large primary lens) + 50MP(ultrawide lens) + 50MP(periscope telephoto lens, 3x zoom) triple rear camera unit, 5700 mAh typical battery, wireless (likely magnetic) charging, X-axis motor, IPX8-rated waterproof body, anti-fall body structure, zero-crease hinge, thin and light-weight design, and Apple ecology compatibility.
